What We DO NOT Collect

Your video and audio files are NEVER uploaded to our servers.

We designed our rendering engine to work directly inside your browser. This means that when you drag and drop a video, the extraction, frame rendering, and final export (via WebCodecs and FFmpeg.wasm) happen entirely on your local machine. We cannot see, store, or distribute your video files because they never leave your computer.

2. Information We Collect

We only collect information necessary to provide the account and translation functionalities:

  • Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your email address and name (provided via Google or Supabase Auth) to manage your login and subscription status.
  • Generated Text: The transcripts (speech-to-text) and translated text generated during the usage of the Service are stored securely in our database. This allows you to return to the editor later without losing your work.
  • API Keys: If you choose to input your own third-party API keys (e.g., Google API), these are securely encrypted before being stored in our database, strictly for the purpose of communicating with the translation providers on your behalf.

3. Third-Party Services

To provide the Service, we utilize trusted third-party providers:

  • Supabase: For secure authentication and database hosting.
  • Stripe: For secure payment processing. We do not store or process your credit card details; Stripe handles this entirely.
  • AI Providers: The audio transcripts are sent to chosen AI providers (like Google or OpenAI) strictly for the purpose of translation. No media files are sent, only text and audio data.

The security of your data is important to us. We employ industry-standard security measures, including Row Level Security (RLS) policies in our database, to ensure that only you can access your projects, API keys, and account details.
